Bundling is the practice of collecting campaign contributions to give to those seeking election to office. Bundling is a regulated campaign activity under federal and state laws. So, do you collect checks and deliver them to candidates? How do you do it? Unfortunately, there are no good resources on the Internet explaining how to collect large sums of money for political candidates. Moreover, given the Citizens United Supreme Court decision, bundling may become less important. Don’t worry; I’m here to help. Below is an outline of what I think people with the silver tongues have that enables them to be successful fundraisers and yes, I have solicited contributions myself.
